Dubai · Digital patient experience

Dubai healthcare is becoming more digital. The patient-facing experience cannot stay behind.

Dubai’s clinical infrastructure is digitising quickly. The public-facing patient journey should feel equally intentional.

The infrastructure is already moving

By the end of June 2025, DHA said its NABIDH unified medical-record platform contained more than 10.41 million medical records and connected 1,888 licensed healthcare facilities, 53,659 healthcare professionals and 91 EMR systems.

Patients experience a different layer

Patients may never see the sophistication of the underlying health-information infrastructure. What they do see is the website, Google profile, treatment explanation, doctor page, reviews, WhatsApp interaction and booking flow.

Digital maturity should be visible

A clinic can invest in advanced equipment and systems while still presenting a dated or fragmented digital front end. Closing that perception gap is about making discovery, trust and booking feel consistent with the quality of the care operation.
